Little Learners Charities is a childcare center in Price, Utah. It is the only Department of Workforce Services (DWS)-certified daycare in the community and has a dedicated clientele. However, the management wanted to improve the business to make it an even better place for families to find great childcare.
To help build Little Learners’ success, we conducted a full business analysis, including financial performance, marketing, employee standards and guidance, and other areas. As a result of this analysis and related recommendations, Little Learners was able to improve their fiscal health while still remaining a quality and cost leader among childcare providers in the community, improve their visibility with a new website and more professional email address.
Little Learners is now on firm financial footing and the website is bringing multiple new clients every week. They are on a strong path do increase their DWS rating, certifying that they are one of the top-quality childcare centers in Utah.
Merit3D is a forward-thinking startup with a vision of bringing jobs back to the United States and streamlining the product development and production process by skipping injection molding with additive manufacturing. One of their target markets is the defense sector. This requires compliance with a number of regulations to protect American military technologies, notably the International Traffic In Arms Regulations or ITAR. Customer-Led Innovations Consulting was contracted to create an ITAR compliance program. CLIC researched the regulations, built policies and procedures, created training, and made recommendations for next steps. Merit3D is currently building on the foundation CLIC built by working with cybersecurity experts to gain further certifications.
Wasatch Forestry Resources Solutions is a small forestry company with a mission to responsibly manage and harvest the rich forest resources in Eastern Utah. It works with private and public landowners to reduce the risk of fire and disease while also improving the recreational usability of the land. CLIC provided insights on different revenue streams and methods to reduce waste by using as much of the harvested timber as possible. CLIC also worked as onsite labor to help gain a better understanding of the business and industry.
Vertex Nonprofit Organization (“Vertex”), (FIN 45-2831378), was established for the purpose of helping new or expanding schools obtain physical facilities to accommodate their educational programs despite certain obstacles like first year of operation or lower than expected enrollment.
Vertex contracted CLIC to help build the success of one of the schools in its portfolio, Little Learners Charities Daycare (see above). CLIC represented Vertex with the daycare management and its clients, providing business and financial analysis services, authoring policies and procedures, and contacting and working with overdue clients to repay their debts. As a result of CLIC’s expertise and assistance, Little Learners is now on firm financial footing with effective client and employee policies, and with a new website that brings multiple clients each week.
